Bear Productions is proud to present the premiere production of the musical Elvis and Dick, written and directed by Brian Kennington (The Retirement Plan, a Patron’s Pick at the 2013 Fringe), playing at the Tarragon Theatre Mainspace from July 3rd to 12th at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival. Elvis and Dick is a musical comedy based on the famous private meeting held between President Richard Nixon and Elvis Presley where the KIng aspired to become A FEDERAL DRUG AGENT!
On December 21st, 1970, Elvis paid a visit to the President in the Oval Office at the White House, where he volunteered to take down the drug movement and inform on drug using celebrities. Packed with 15 Elvis hits, the 90 minute musical is laced with the King’s Movie style fantasies, where he’s CLOBBERING COMMIES, BUSTING HIPPIES and INFILTRATING THE WOMEN’S LIBERATION MOVEMENT!

Arts and Letters Club at 14 Elm Street in Toronto
on May 8th at 8:00 pm.
